Ingredients:
6 large potatoes
A corner block marble
cheese
A bag of grated marble
cheese
A block of soft butter
Enough milk to
fill your dish
Baking dish
Directions:
Peel the potatoes
and slice them up.
The potatoes can be eaten with a salad. There is nothing like mom's cooking. Melissa Wong/My Online Journalism Blog |
Layer the potato
slices on the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle a
spoonful of flour over the layer of potato slices.
Cut up a few cubes
of the block butter and place the cubes on top of the flour.
Place another
layer of potatoes on top of the flour and butter layer.
Repeat the process
until the dish is full.
Pour milk in dish
to cover potatoes. Layer the top with cubed cheddar cheese and grated cheddar cheese.
Bake slowly in an
oven at 350 for about 1 1/4 hours. Check it to make sure it is cooking well.
Once cooked, take the dish out of the oven.
Tip: Make this for
your mom sometime.
