Have you ever sat back in your computer chair and asked your computer: Why is no one reading my blog?

Finding an Audience
My audience should vow to blog in good times and bad and hold on to each other even when online trolls are mean. Be patient with each other, even if wide views do not arrive right away. Take the vow and treat the blog's brand like a potted plant. Good gardeners will water it and keep it in the sun, but it may take years before they see the fruits of their toil and tears.
Once bloggers are committed, they need to give their blog widespread appeal. Popular topics like entertainment or Donald Trump get views. However, if the topic is too popular it can drown in the sea of other stories covering the same topic. Thus, while trendy stories do get more traction, it is important to make sure the story stands out or continually comes up high in searches. It is also important to try to remain tasteful because while the blogger can focus on the gore or sex aspects of a story, it is always important to try to not exploit other human beings.
Local news or smaller stories will have less competition, but a blogger still faces the danger of a smaller audience who might only search for that topic on occasion. However, popularity is not permanent and moves in cycles so the story might gain popularity if it is shared by enough people. A good blogger will keep in mind new is always sexy so they must continue to post content on their blog.
