Ingredients:

2-8 frozen Zongzi

A metal steamer pot of water


Directions:

1. Wash any frost off each Zongzi

2. Fill a pot with water and place each Zongzi into the water

3. Turn the stovetop to maximum heat

4. Bring to a boil and then boil rapidly for 10 minutes

5. Turn off the stovetop

6. Cover the pot with the lid and leave to cook in hot water for 40-60 minutes

7. Drain the water from the pot 

8. Remove each Zongzi. They are ready to serve!

9. Cut the string, unwrap the leaves and eat the Zongzi 

Tip: You can use a knife or scissors to cut each Zongzi’s string.
